Magickal Uses: Patchouli has a strong connection with the element of Earth, it smells like rich Earth and is very commonly used in money and prosperity spells and mixtures. Sprinkle onto money, add to your purse or wallet and place around the base of green candles for money spells.
Patchouli is also wonderful in fertility and love blends and can be substituted for graveyard dirt where needed (see also Mullein)
The leaves in particular are wonderful for potpourri and ground up for incense.
Healing Properties: Patchouli is wonderful in easing depression, anxiety and to help with spiritual grounding. It is said to boost the immune system and the essential oil helps soothe inflammation.
It is believed that patchouli leaves as a herbal tea can help digestive issues.
