Selenite / Satin Spar Towers - Twins
Recently there has been a lot of debate over what is or isn't classified as Selenite.
Both are similar, both are forms of Gypsum.
Gypsum is a common hydrated calcium sulphate mineral. Varieties of Gypsum include Satin Spar (fibrous), Selenite (clear crystalline), Alabaster (fine grained) and Desert Rose (brown sand inclusions). Gypsum crystals can form interesting wavy formations.
Approx. 20cm tall varying widths but all similar in size.
