Flavour
Earl Grey is a tea flavoured by oil of bergamot, the addition of this oil giving Earl Grey it's recognisable scent. It has a slightly bitter/sweet flavour with a hint of citrus.
Benefits
Bergamot tea (Earl Grey) may be beneficial in balancing cholesterol levels, reducing inflammation associated with digestive issues and stomach issues.
Earl Grey tea is often consumed to help reduce depression. Black tea has antioxidant effects on the body.
Preparation
1. Add 1 heaped teaspoon of tea per cup (approx. 250ml).
2. Place in an infuser, strainer, tea bag or teapot with strainer.
3. Pour over freshly boiled water.
4. Steep for 3–5 minutes to desired strength.
5. Enjoy plain or with a splash of lemon.
Storage: Store below 23°C in a dark location such as a cupboard, ensure packaging is tightly closed/sealed.

Tea Leaves: No known allergens, trace elements may be present due to farming practices.
Moderate amounts (2-3 cups per day) is generally considered safe for most people, there may be some risk associated with over consumption.

Constituents:
Tea contains xanthines, caffeine (1-5%), theobromine, tannins including polyphenols, flavonoids, fats and vitamin C.
Bergamot: volatile oil including linalyl acetate, limonene, linalool, bergapten and diterpene.
Consumption of too much tea may have a diuretic effect, interfere with the absorption of iron in your body and/or increase anxiety due to too much caffeine.
