Happy Tea, 17.5g
(average 16 servings per bag)
We named this tea "Happy Tea" because it gave us feelings of joy and happiness both while blending it and drinking it. A great tea for kids too, they loved it while we were testing the teas!
Made with high quality natural herbs and packaged in resealable Kraft bags with clear back to see how much you have left easily, and instructions on the label.
With the beautiful herbs used in this tea it doesn't really need additional sweetener, but of course it's up to you :)
(these herbs are so light and fluffy it doesn't take as much in weight to fill these bags, but be assured there's plenty here in the packets!)
Ingredients
Trifolium pratense (red clover, whole), Backhousia citriodora (lemon myrtle, leaves), Calendula officinalis (calendula, flower petals), Centella asiatica (gotu kola, dried aerials).
Origin: Calendula - Egypt, Red Clover - Albania, Lemon Myrtle - Australia, Gotu Kola - Madagascar.
*We try to purchase certified Organic botanicals, though sometimes these are not available so we do not state Organic unless they are always available and used. Some batches may be Organic, others will not be certified as such but still may be grown and harvested to those standards.
Flavour Profile
Refreshing, citrus flavour with subtle floral and sweet taste with a hint of honey. Also has an earthy, herbaceous note.
Benefits
Aside from promoting happiness, our Happy Tea may help reduce stress, assist with menstruation issues and menopausal symptoms, lymphatic system, and liver detoxification. It may also help strengthen the nervous system and help enhance memory and cognition.
Red Clover is commonly used to balance endogenous oestrogen levels, it has antiheumatic and depurative properties which may help cleanse the blood. Red Clover is also used to enhance the detoxification functions of the liver.
Calendula supports the movement of lymph which enables better detoxication from the cells and also supports overall immunological health. It may be used for swollen lymph glands, water retention or in other congestion conditions. It has also shown clinical evidence of helping delayed menstruation and easing the pain from associated cramps.
Lemon Myrtle is rich with antioxidants, it has long been used traditionally to aid digestion and may also help the body fight bacteria and viruses.
Gotu Kola is a revitalizing herb that helps strengthen the nervous system and is often used to enhance memory functions. It has shown clinical evidence of stimulating the brain via cerebral blood circulation and may be useful in treating those with Alzheimer's particularly the early stages.
