SKU: TEA-PAINRELIEF

Pain Relief Herbal Tea, 40g
(average 20 servings per bag)

This beautiful herbal tea has been carefully blended with botanicals traditionally used to help ease pain and promote relaxation to help you to sleep as well. It does have a rather intense aroma and flavour, so will likely need a little sweetening to taste - we recommend adding a little honey or other natural sweetener to suit your personal tastes.

When I was testing this blend I had a migraine, which I often get and can last up to a week leaving me stuck in bed for days, I made myself a cup of Pain Relief Tea and within 20 minutes my Migraine started to ease off. I drank another cup of tea and drifted off to sleep for an hour, when I woke up my Migraine had become a slight headache and the nausea had completely gone. Within 2 hours my headache had completely gone and I was able to catch up on more sleep and was happily back at work the next day. - Lyllith

  2. Pour just boiled water over your herbal tea

Benefits

Carefully blended with plants used in traditional medicines to help reduce aches and pains while increasing relaxation to assist with sleep.

St Johns Wort, Valerian and California Poppy have been used to help improve sleep quality and address certain sleep disorders, such as insomnia. Their calming properties may help promote relaxation and aid in falling asleep.

St Johns Wort is also taken to help with depression, traditionally used to relieve nerve pain and neuralgia. It may help reduce pain, inflammation and discomfort associated with conditions like sciatica, shingles and nerve injuries.

Ginger has been added to this blend to help reduce nausea and settle the stomach.

Safety/Contraindications

Do not consume more than 2 cups of this herbal tea per day, not recommended for long term use.

This herbal tea may cause drowsiness and should not be consumed if driving a vehicle or operating machinery.

St Johns Wort may interfere with medications for depression or antipsychotic medications. It also may speed up the elimination of many medications through phase liver detoxification and can interfere with MAOIs, SSRIs, narcotics & reserpine.

Do not use if taking anti-depressants, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, cholesterol lowering medications, methadone, valium or other sedatives and pain-killing medications.

Always speak to your physician before using natural remedies, folk medicines, herbal supplements or teas - especially if your are taking prescription medications, are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Pain tea

I suffer with chronic pain and this tea is amazing. I'm a type 1 diabetic whose blood sugar goes crazy with pain and this eases the pain which lowers the blood sugar.
