Healing Properties: Cleavers (seeds) are sometimes roasted and used as a substitute for coffee. A valuable lymphatic tonic, Clivers are believed to help drain lymph nodes by washing the tissues from toxins and passing them back into the bloodstream to be cleansed by the liver and kidneys.
Clivers are also used to treat psoriasis, arthritis, kidney and urinary stones and infections.
