Magickal Uses: Fo-Ti is not an overly commonly used herb in magic, though it can be used in spellwork to promote fertility, strength, longevity and binding work.
As this plant is a type of knotweed, it can also be used to absorb your troubles and bind your problems. (just don't consume in a tea afterwards!)
Healing Properties: Traditional Chinese medicine. The processed (cured) root of the plant is used to make medicine. Fo-ti is commonly used by mouth to help treat or prevent conditions related to aging, including cancer, heart disease, and memory problems.
To make a tea of Fo-Ti, Use 9-15 grams of the sliced root and simmer in water (non-metallic pot) for 45 minutes (30 minutes is adequate for the thin slices).
