Magickal Uses: Due to legal restrictions, Hemp is not as often used in magick as it once was. Traditional uses of the plant included smoking to open the third eye and psychic senses, often blended with Mugwort.
Seeds were sprinkled around a Church 9 times, at midnight on MidSummers Eve to show visions of ones' future husband or wife.
Healing Properties: Dubbed a super food, hemp seeds are rich in protein, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. They have a nutty flavour and are often added to protien shakes, salads and many other dishes.
Only recently, in 2017, has the Australian Government lifted the ban on Hemp seed consumption in Australia. (hopefully the entire plant will become legal soon, as it's medicinal value is simply amazing!)
