Magickal Uses: Raspberry branches have traditionally been hung up at doors and windows for protection, but also after a death has ocurred to stop the spirit coming back into the home (bit mean in my opinion).
Raspberry is commonly used in love spells and blends, the leaves are carried by pregnant women to relieve pains of pregnancy and childbirth (not recommended in early stages)
Healing Properties: A tea of Raspberry leaf when due to give birth is said to help bring on contractions and speed up the labour stage - as well as help ease pains. It is also used for gastrointestinal disorders including diarrhea; for infection of the airways including flu, and for heart problems.
