Magickal Uses: Carried, Witch hazel is said to help mend a broken heart and can be used in love and healing spells.
Healing Properties: Most commonly used in skin care products or as a water (infusion) to treat sunburn, acne and other skin irritations.
It can be used in place of alcohol in certain topical treatments, including as a replacement to baby wipes and makeup remover using a soft cloth or cotton pad.
Witch Hazel is wonderful for sunburn as a hydrosol, it's also good for treating bruises, psoriasis, eczema, ingrown hairs and nails, cracked skin, blisters, insect bites, rashes and abrasions. A valuable asset to have in your first aid kit!
